London: 16 June 2010Flash Alert! Flash Alert! Flash Alert! Flash Alert!Bollywood royalty comes to London. Today was a world premiere no less and supported by the biggest names there are. A lovely day to go south of the river to the BFI. Warm and sunny. I kept tabs on what was going on at the fanline by phone and could thus arrive at two and still get a spot. Big thanks to my fanline friends for that. By four the crowds swelled to the maximum security would allow in. The crowd was entertained by drummers on the traditional red carpet and all could get a good view via the giant screen. The event was spiced up by some guy who climbed onto a nearby roof and whipped off his shirt then resisted all attempts to get him down. At least he can say the biggest and best from Bollywood will remember him, because they all looked and laughed. When the principals arrived, the pushing from behind and the sides was very uncomfortable and unruly, so please excuse the judders. Autograph hunters had a patchy day and the stars shook hands and stopped sporadically to sign to speed up progress down the fanline.
